Shipping Insurance
Packages are automatically insured by USPS or UPS for up to $100.
Order Processing Time
- Normal Processing: Orders typically ship within 2–5 business days.
- Restock Periods: During high-demand restocks, processing may take 10–15 business days due to order volume.
- Holiday Delays: Shipping times may be affected by carrier transit delays during the holiday season.
We work diligently to package your order securely and ship it promptly.
Shipping & Handling Fees
- A nominal handling fee is applied to cover packaging and transaction costs.
- Shipping fees are calculated based on your order total, and we use commercial shipping rates where available.
- While we aim to keep shipping fees reasonable, refunds for overages may be issued at our discretion.
Canceling an Order
- Orders can be canceled before they ship; however, once shipped, all sales are final.
- A 5% restocking fee applies to canceled orders and is non-refundable.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders if communication with the customer is not possible.
Combining Multiple Orders
If you place multiple orders, we will combine them and issue refunds for any excess charges once processing fees (up to 5%) are accounted for. Be sure to notify us if you have multiple orders pending.
Lost or Missing Packages
- To add signature confirmation to your shipment, contact us before your order ships. This may incur a small additional fee.
- Light & Lather Co. is not liable for packages marked as delivered but not received. Theft or misplacement after delivery is the responsibility of the recipient.
- For missing deliveries, contact your local carrier office for assistance, and if theft is suspected, report the incident to local law enforcement.
Damaged Shipments
- If your items arrive damaged, take photos of the damage and notify both the carrier and Light & Lather Co. as soon as possible.
- We will assist in filing claims but require documentation to proceed. Adding Route Package Protection at checkout is recommended for extra security.
Refund Policy
Refunds are reviewed individually and are not issued for preferences such as scent, texture, or product design. Because all products are handmade, slight variations in appearance are to be expected.
Return Policy
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept product returns. Once shipped, all sales are final.
Ingredient & Allergy Information
- Ingredients in our products may come into contact with allergens during manufacturing.
- Customers should carefully review ingredient lists and perform a spot test before full use.
- If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional.
Product Usage Warnings
- Use products as intended and responsibly.
- Vibrant-colored soaps may stain fabrics or washcloths.
